Outside is, for me, synonymous with wild. It’s the places and activities that demand adventure. Places that are out of the way. Doing things that are out of the ordinary. There’s effort required. The results are hard-earned. They entail some element of risk, or at the very least doubt. Will the view be worth the climb? Will the fish be biting? All these measures are on a relative scale. What seems like a major expedition to me, is someone else’s walk in the park. Whatever your appetite, somehow the exertion is worth it, we hope.
